The Star Diner is a stepping stone in the entertainment industry. Only the most talented land a role there, and only the best of the best get signed at the Start of Summer Talent Showcase every May. Aidan Castillo, son of famed Spanish Singer Adrian Castillo, is ready to establish himself outside of the shadow of his father. Going by Aidan Castle, the young man’s aspirations conflict with his personal life when his friendship with the host of the diner, comedian Chase Nolan, blossoms into a romantic relationship. Despite being under the tutelage of fellow waitress and singer Gage Hanson, Aidan struggles with his sexuality, his feelings for Chase, and making an impression on owner of the diner Howard Carmichael. When Carmichael drives a wedge between Aidan and Chase by noting the last place in the showcase will be decided between the two they become enemies leading to the showcase, neither willing to sacrifice their dream. Will either be able to swallow their pride and acknowledge their romantic feelings with one another?
